In 2006, Global Renewal launched our first training center in Southeast Asia to educate and equip a small group of local leaders with the hope of transforming negative social patterns through education, outreach programs, and offering new micro-business opportunities.
Today, Global Renewal has grown into a network of leadership training centers, anti-human trafficking efforts, and local community development initiatives all over Southeast Asia with one goal in mind:

OUR MISSION:
1. TO DEVELOP COMMUNITY LEADERS.
We’ve found that equipping and training local leaders to transform their own lives, families, and communities is far more impactful than if we tried to do it all ourselves. Global Renewal provides local citizens with the tools they need to transform negative societal mindsets that result in human trafficking and poverty into mindsets of hope, freedom, and restoration because identifying and training local men and women to become effective leaders, business owners, teachers, and parents is how we create lasting generational change.
2. TO TRANSFORM MINDSETS OF POVERTY TO PROSPERITY.
When individuals are forced to live without basic human needs and infrastructure, communities are left vulnerable and divert to negative societal mindsets of poverty and hopelessness. It can be difficult to have a mindset of hope and prosperity when your heart is broken over having to choose whether your kids will eat or go to school. That’s why Global Renewal is determined to encourage and equip individuals to become community leaders, change-makers, and entrepreneurs by implementing community development and educational programs that will proactively reverse generations of physical and emotional poverty—bringing hope for a more prosperous future.
3. TO SEE THE END OF HUMAN SLAVERY—FOR GOOD.
Human trafficking is an epidemic that affects nearly 40 million men, women, and children who are involved in forced labor, sexual exploitation, and coerced marriage across Southeast Asia. Human trafficking is now one of the world’s most lucrative and organized crimes, generating more than $150 billion a year with two-thirds of its victims (25 million people) in East Asia and the Pacific. That’s why we’re working in impoverished communities all over Southeast Asia to transform negative societal mindsets that result in human trafficking. OUR STRATEGY
1. EDUCATE
Transform communities through Leadership Training, educational sponsorships for children, counseling, and mentoring programs.
2. ELEVATE
Build up local communities through feeding programs, micro-enterprise opportunities, medical OUTREACH, and RESPONDING to BASIC HUMAN needs.
3. ERADICATE
Initiate search + rescue of trafficking victims and rehabilitation through our selah safe houses.
